My name is Christopher Jimenez, Web Services Librarian and Liaison to the History Department. Welcome to the Viking History & Society LibGuide (Originally created for Dr. Kerns' Spring 2018 EUH 4286 class).

This guide provides an introduction to library research services and specific history resources. These resources have been curated with Viking Culture from around 600—1300 CE in mind. Annotation is provided to enlighten the user about each item. Below is a general description of the layout of this guide.

  • Sources - How to differentiate between Scholarly & Popular articles. How to determine if material qualifies as a primary or secondary source.
