Current Students & Current FIU Employees

• Current FIU students/employees may access our databases while on-campus or off-campus.
• FIU Alumni, former Employees, and Visitors - refer to the "Visitors" section below for access.
• Some FIU Libraries databases may require you to login.  If this occurs you will be instructed to do this.  Off-campus access to the FIU databases are available only for current FIU students and employees.  Access is determined by contracts with the database owners.  For legal reasons the FIU Libraries are compelled to comply.
• If you are on campus and using the FIU Secure WiFi, you are already logged in (authenticated).  Please understand that some databases require to to login to confirm your access is allowed.

Visitors

• You must be physically on the FIU Campus for library research database access.  Some restrictions may apply.
• Directions:  Scroll to the CONTACTS section at the bottom. Select MMC or BBC, then click on DIRECTIONS.
• Login to the FIU Visitor WiFi by using your device's WiFi finder.
• Access for visitors and non-FIU students and employees is determined by contracts with the database owners.  For legal reasons the FIU Libraries are compelled to comply.
• Off-campus access is restricted to current FIU students/employees by owners of our proprietary databases.  Some e-books are also restricted to current FIU students/employees.  The FIU Libraries are required to comply.
