ArcGIS StoryMaps is a product of the cloud-based ArcGIS Online, from the software company Esri. Any FIU student, faculty, or staff member has complete access to the Esri suite via the FIU GIS Center located in Green Library. StoryMaps allow a user to create customized maps as an aid to their digital storytelling. A user can incorporate all kinds of data into their StoryMaps project, from maps with plotted location points to images and video. StoryMaps can also be used for a variety of purposes, including classroom presentations, online exhibitions and professional portfolios.
