NEW RESOURCE | Caribbean Newspapers, 1718-1876

We now have access to a new archive collection of newspapers from Readex, Caribbean Newspapers, 1718-1876.

"This archive contains a large collection of fully searchable 18th- and 19th-century Caribbean newspapers covering more than 140 newspaper titles from 22 islands. This resource will prove essential for researching colonial history, the Atlantic slave trade, international commerce, New World slavery and U.S. relations with the region as far back as the early 18th century.


We now have access to BrowZine! BrowZine is a mobile app that allows you to browse and read the Libraries' online journal content.  Made speficially for tablets, the app is available for download for iPads, Android tablets, and the Kindle Fire (Windows tablets coming soon).
