SAFE VIEWING: Experts emphasize that during a partial eclipse, it is NOT safe to look directly at the eclipse with the naked eye.  Regular sunglasses will NOT be safe.  You must use special eclipse viewing glasses, view it via an easy-to-make pinhole projector or look at it through a telescope with a special filter.  (Picture via NASA's 2024 Total Solar Eclipse site)
