Choose a Cause

While you're walking 2k, 5k, and 10k for eggs, use the Charity Miles app to earn money for a good cause of your choice.

You may have seen requests around social media to place lures at children's hospitals to help the kids staying there catch Pokémon. Although this is a lovely idea, be aware not every hospital supports the use of lures. Please check with your local children hospital's Information Center before placing lures there.

Some animal shelters are asking Pokémon GO players to walk dogs while they walk around town catching 'em all. Check with your local shelter if you are interested in helping out while you play.

Sign up for the Miami-Dade Heart Walk, a 5K trail with a beautiful view of Biscayne Bay (and plenty of Pokémon to catch). There is no fee to join and your participation can help save lives from the #1 killer in the United States: heart disease.

The 2016 Heart Walk will be held on Sunday, November 20 at 9:00 a.m. in Museum Park (downtown Miami). Start a team with your fellow trainers!
