TRIAL: LIVEDGAR

We have a trial through Wed., Nov. 7, to a database of corporate records information produced by a subsidiary of Wests. It has a strong international element to it (33.000 companies total), including access to Canada Revenue's equivalent to EDGAR. EDGAR is the SEC's online reporting database for publicly traded companies.

MIUS event @ Green Library

Maps and Imagery User Services (MIUS) is displaying a series of maps, art, and scientific data related to human consumption and global environmental changes. The exhibit will be displayed in GL-273 from November 2, 2007- December 6, 2007. This exhibit is open to all between 9:30-5:30, Monday-Friday.

TRIAL: Sage eReference


We have a trial for the Sage eReference package.
This trial runs through Nov. 30

"There are over 40 eReference Titles available online.... Each title has its own unique design and 'homepage...' The homepage includes a summmary of the encyclopedia as well as front and back matter presented in PDF format."

NEW DATABABSE: BankSource

We now have access to BankSource from Highline Financial.
"Used for researching and analyzing the banking industry. Content includes Company Analysis, Market/Branch Analysis, Mergers & Acquisitions Data, Publicly Traded Banking Data, Regulatory Banking Data, Branch Deposit Data and News and Research."

TRIAL: Gale Literature Criticism Online

We have a trial for the new Literature Criticism Online product from Gale.

There are a few steps you have to go through in order to gain access to the product:
