Library resources and services for MAST @ FIU teachers

Welcome

Welcome MAST @ FIU

The Hubert Library provides a number of services to meet the research and curricular needs of MAST @ FIU students and teachers.

These include:

  • Access to library spaces for individual and/or group work
  • Library instruction for research assignments
  • Access to computer labs and other technology
  • Access to library collections and borrowing privileges
  • Access to library databases while on-campus (off-campus access is available for dual-enrolled students)
  • and more!

Library Spaces

The Hubert Library boasts several areas for individual and group study. The First and Second floors are reserved for quiet and group study, while the ASK Center provides access to desktop computers.

Teachers interested in reserving a library space for their students can submit a request via the Library Visit Request form.

Library Instruction

A library instruction session is an assignment-based, one-shot learning session taught by an FIU Librarian. Assignments should center on a research question that requires the use of academic resources to satisfy a particular learning outcome. These sessions generally run between 30-45 minutes (including time for questions and answers).

Teachers are welcome to request a library instruction session by submitting a request via the Library Instruction Request form
