WHAT IS LACiC?

LACiC is the Latin American and Caribbean Information Center located in room 225 of Green Library. LACiC does not contain the FIU Library's collections for Latin America and the Caribbean. They are integrated throughout the campus libraries. LACiC is different from LACC, the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at FIU.

LACiC is where you'll find me, Gayle Williams, Latin American & Caribbean Information Services Librarian. I am available for individual assistance when you're working on a project about Latin America and/or the Caribbean (I also handle Spain and Portugal and topics on US Latinos). I can provide bibliographic instruction for classes in my subject areas. I am responsible for selecting library resources for these areas.

NOTICE: I am working remotely off-campus as of March 2020. This fall my remote location will be out of state. I am still able to assist you via email, phone, or a face to face meeting on Zoom. Please use my contact information in my profile box.
