Sea Level Rise Calculator
The Sea Level Rise (SLR) Inundation Surface Calculator assists users in creating GIS layers representing potentially inundated areas due to various sea level rise scenarios. The calculator uses the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) sea level change projection methodology, as specified in Engineer Circular EC 1165-2-212, along with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) tide gauge data and sea level trends.

The SLR calculator is an add-in for ArcGIS Desktop 10.1, which is required to run this tool, along with the Spatial Analyst extension. An add-in is a customized tool or toolbar that can be added to an ArcGIS for Desktop application (i.e. ArcMap, ArcCatalog, etc) to run custom GIS functions. Intermediate GIS expertise is recommended for using the SLR calculator.

The calculator outputs include a bathtub inundation surface and a refined inundation surface with hydrologic connectivity filter run. Both outputs are available in raster or vector feature class format.

The SLR calculator can be downloaded with or without a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dataset. Depending on the download package you selected, the zip included either a DEM for the entire State of Florida or a DEM clipped to one of the seven FDOT Districts.

ArcGIS Editor for OSM 10.4X Desktop
The ArcGIS Editor for OpenStreetMap allows you to use ArcGIS tools for working with OpenStreetMap data. This desktop toolset for ArcGIS 10.4.x allows you to load data from OpenStreetMap and store it in a geodatabase. You can then use the familiar editing environment of ArcGIS Desktop to create, modify, do network analysis, or update data. Once you are done editing, you can post back the edit changes to OSM to make them available to all OSM users.

BCAL LIDAR TOOLS
BCAL Lidar Tools are open-source tools developed for processing, analyzing and visualizing lidar data. They are written in the IDL programming language and are intended to be used as an add-on in the ENVI remote sensing software package.

COAST (Coastal Adaptation to Sea Level Rise Tool)
The COAST software tool, a free download, is built on the Global Mapper software developer toolkit and promoted in partnership with Catalysis Adaptation Partners.

COAST (COastal Adaptation to Sea level rise Tool) is a process that helps users answer questions in regards to the costs and benefits of actions and strategies to avoid damages to assets from sea level rise and/or coastal flooding.

MODIS Toolbox
The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) takes a complete picture of the Earth every day with 1 km resolution. This toolbox contains scripts that download NASA satellite imagery from MODIS and import it into ArcMap. The four data products currently supported are: evapotranspiration, surface temperature, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), and enhanced vegetation index (EVI).

These products are available for the entire surface of the Earth at 1 km resolution and for any month going back to January 2000, when MODIS first launched aboard the satellite Terra.

Deegree is open source software for spatial data infrastructures and the geospatial web. deegree offers components for geospatial data management, including data access, visualization, discovery and security.

MapServer
MapServer is an Open Source platform for publishing spatial data and interactive mapping applications to the web. Originally developed in the mid-1990’s at the University of Minnesota, MapServer is released under an MIT-style license, and runs on all major platforms (Windows,Linux, Mac OS X). MapServer is not a full-featured GIS system, nor does it aspire to be.

I3Geo
i3Geo is an application for the development of interactive web maps. It integrates several open source applications into a single development platform, mainly Mapserver and OpenLayers. Developed in PHP and Javascript, it has functionalities that allows the user to have better control over the map output, allowing to modify the legend of layers, to apply filters, to perform analysis, etc.

i3Geo is completely customizable and can be tailor to the different users using the interactive map. Furthermore, the spatial data is organized in a catalogue that offers online access services such as WMS, WFS, KML or the download of files.

i3Geo was developed by the Ministry of the Environment of Brazil and it is actually part of the Brazilian Public Software Portal.

LASTools
It is a collection of highly efficient, batch-scriptable, multicore command line tools. It has tools to classify, tile, convert, filter, raster, triangulate, contour, clip, and polygonize LiDAR data (to name just a few functions). All of the tools can also be run via a native GUI and are available as a LiDAR processing toolboxes for ArcGIS versions 9.3, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, or 10.3, for QGIS versions 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, or 2.10, and for ERDAS IMAGINE versions 14.0 and 15.1.

PostGIS - Spatial and Geographic objects for PostgreSQL
PostGIS is a spatial database extender for PostgreSQL object-relational database. It adds support for geographic objects allowing location queries to be run in SQL.

It has a good interface with QGIS allowing people that don't know SQL create and maintain a spatial geodatabase.
