Embase Guide | Guía de Embase

A guide to using Embase with a walkthrough tutorial exercise and other resources. Incluye instrucciones en español.

Embase makes it easy to export citations and add them to your RefWorks account.

If you need to brush up on using RefWorks, see the FIU Libraries' RefWorks LibGuide or view the full RefWorks help guide.

  1. From your search results page, check the box(es) corresponding to the citation(s) you want to export to RefWorks.
  2. Click on the "Export" link above the search results. (To save all search results, select the corresponding search number in the Search History section at the top of the page instead.)
  3. Change the options on the "Export format" drop-down menu that appears to "RefWorks Direct Export," then click "Export."
  4. You will be prompted to log in to RefWorks if you have not already done so. Once you are logged in, the citations will be exported to RefWorks automatically.
