Understanding Call Numbers

BROWSE BOOKS IN THE LIBRARIES

The major Library of Congress (LC) classification for Medicine is R. Nutrition and Dietetics materials are included in various subclasses, including RA (nutrition in the context of public health), RC (nutritional diseases), RJ (nutrition in pediatric populations), and RM (diet therapy). (Click here for a full list of subclasses within the R class.) Nutrition and Dietetics materials may also be found in the TX subclass.

Browse shelves in these subclasses on the sixth floor of the Green Library (MMC) and the third floor of the Hubert Library (BBC).

JOURNALS

Search for both print and electronic journals using the library catalog. Print journals in dietetics and nutrition can be found in the same subclasses as books (see above) on the third floor of the Green Library and the second floor of the Hubert Library.
