When searching for resources on a specific topic, you'll need to search a library catalog.

To locate resources in the FIU Libraries collections search the FIU Libraries Catalog.

BROWSE THE SHELVES

You might like to browse the library shelves to find something of interest in your field. Books are arranged by subject using the Library of Congress call number system. The call number is located on the book spine.

Circulating books with these call numbers are located on the 7th floor.

Browsing is too time consuming if you have a specific topic.  For example, if you’re looking for an historical, sociological, psychological aspect of a topic, you might find something in the B, D, E, F or H sections of the library.  For specific topics, search the FIU Library Catalog by keyword or subject.
