Research Study Groups
- Formed for research projects and assignments
- May be formed by instructors or students
- May be a class requirement or a group formed independently of the class
- Does not necessarily have to be linked to a class or course
- Should have specifically stated area(s) of subject(s) to be covered and discussed
- Should have schedules for meetings and reading or study assignments created in advance
- Needs to have anticipated outcomes of the group's work discussed or in writing so that everyone has a clear understanding
