A Very Hogwarts Library Fair

Are you a Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff? Or perhaps you attended Beauxbatons or Durmstrang? Or perhaps you're a Muggle with an extensive knowledge of the wizarding world? Whatever the case is, we want you at our second annual BBC Library Fair! Come and learn what service the library offers, as well as what else is available at BBC. There will be prizes, games, crafts, snacks, and much more!

Student Access to the NYT Has Gone Digital

You might have noticed that The New York Times (NYT) paper racks have been empty this semester. That’s because the NYT Readership Program has changed. FIU is now providing digital access to the paper to all students, faculty and staff.

The NYT Readership Program began in 2010 with the belief that free access to one of the world’s highest quality periodicals would help students stay informed and up to date on current events. Paper copies were available during the week at specific locations around campus.

Changes to the Academic Schedule Due to Hurricane Irma

Due to Hurricane Irma, several changes have been made to the Fall 2017 semester and Fall 2017-2018 mini-term. The fall semester has been extended by one week. The deadline for students to submit applications for graduation from September 15 to September 29.
