THE PRITZKER ARCHITECTURE PRIZE

The Pritzker Architecture Prize site provides current information about the world's most prestigious architecture award and its Laureates.  The purpose of the prize is "to honor a living architect whose built work demonstrates a combination of those qualities of talent, vision, and commitment, which has produced consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built environment through the art of architecture."  The newest Laureate is showcased on the site and the Past Laureates can be viewed by Name or by Year.  Biographies, selected works, their acceptance speech including images and videos of the ceremony are included in each Laureate's entry.
