My name is Christopher Jimenez, Web Services Librarian and Liaison to the History Department. This guide provides an introduction to library research services and specific historical resources pertinent to the study of War and Society. Annotation is provided to enlighten the user about each item. Below is a general description of the layout of this guide.

  • Sources - How to differentiate between Scholarly & Popular articles. How to determine if material qualifies as a primary or secondary source.
  • Citation - How to organize your research to effectively write and cite a paper or project.
  • Brainstorm - How to start conducting research.
  • Reference - Reference materials that will form the base of a research project.
  • Articles - How to locate scholarly articles that will further your research (Includes Newspaper sources!).
  • Help - Where to go if you need a little more help.
