Open Access Publishing at FIU

The approved list has been EXPANDED TO INCLUDE THOUSANDS OF JOURNALS from 50+ publishers that are members of OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association), 7000 members of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and 10,000 journals from members of ALPSP (Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers).  IF YOUR PUBLISHER IS NOT IN THE LIST BELOW, please use the organization links above to check for a publisher or journal. 

Requests for publications that do not appear on the approved list below or among the members of the above organizations, but whose articles are indexed/abstracted within one or more research databases may be considered.  Please contact Stephanie Brenenson (brenenso@fiu.edu) for more information and assistance.

Some of the publishers below and in the organizations above publish full open access publications, while others are traditional publishers that provide a hybrid OA publishing option. At this time, both types of Open Access publication are eligible for funding, but at differing levels.  See the fund guidelines for details.
