Connecting Google Scholar to FIU Libraries

Sometimes Google is a good place to start your research, but a lot of the information that you will find that will not be credible or scholarly. Academic writing requires more rigorous research than you can achieve on the open web. To find the best scholarly resources available on the web, use Google Scholar. You can even connect it to the FIU Libraries to access articles that are available to you through the Libraries' databases.

ADD FIND IT @FIU TO GOOGLE SCHOLAR

Set up Google links to FindIt@FIU to link to full text faster

Go to scholar.google.com
Click on the top left of the screen.
Click Settings .
Select Library Links. Search for Florida International University.
Check the FIU boxes.
Click Save.
When you search Google Scholar, you will see FIND IT @FIU. Click it to find the full-text.
