RIA Checkpoint (Edge)

Key Tips:

  • The default search screen is an Intuitive Search for federal content. An intuitive search allows you to search using a question, keywords, or citation.  An intuitive search means that the database deciphers what you mean.
  • The results can be filtered by content type (for example, Primary Source Materials, News, Editorial Materials, & more). They can be narrowed down more based on the first filter.
  • Search results will include Concept Markers to help you identify search terms.
  • The result list show the source of the information in bold.
  • Clicking on Citation and Other Search Tools takes you to the search screen for Citations.
  • Below the search box, you can browse the Table of Contents.
  • Quick Links (left-hand side of screen) allows you to search for Court Cases, Internal Revenue Code, IRS & Treasury Regulations, IRS Publications, and more.
