RIA Checkpoint (Edge)

RIA Checkpoint offers personal accounts which allow you to create folders, make highlights, and take notes. You can also search RIA Checkpoint without creating an account but you won't be able to personalize the content.  Personal accounts expire after each semester.

It is easiest to create an account on-campus. Do NOT use your phone to create your account. You must use your FIU email address to create your account. You will receive an e-mail with a link to Checkpoint, your username, and a temporary password. Follow the link and log in with the username and temporary password. You will be prompted to change your password. Once this process is finished, you can access Checkpoint from any device without going through the FIU network.

If you receive a 404 error when creating your account or trying to sign in to RIA Checkpoint, be sure to clear your cache.
