CINAHL makes it easy to export citations and add them to your RefWorks account.

Importing CINAHL Citations into RefWorks

Exporting Citations from CINAHL

  1. From a citation entry, click on the “Export” link located at the right. view of export link from abstract display
  2. Select the “Direct Export to RefWorks” option on the Export Manager box that appears.

  3. Click the yellow “Save” button.
  4. Log in to RefWorks if you are not already logged in.

  1. Add the citations you want to export to RefWorks to a CINAHL folder. You can do so from invidiual citation entries or from the search results.

  2. Open the folder by clicking the “Folder View” link in the “Folder has items” box that appears to the right of the search results.

  3. Select the citations you want to import to RefWorks, then click on the “Export” link located at the right.

  4. Select the “Direct Export to RefWorks” option on the Export Manager box that appears.

  5. Click the yellow “Save” button.
  6. Log in to RefWorks if you are not already logged in.
