REMINDER: Library Spring Break Hours, 2013

The Libraries have an adjusted schedule for the week of Spring Break,

  • Saturday Mar 9th: OPEN, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Mar 10th: CLOSED
  • Monday, Mar 11th - Thursday, Mar 14th: OPEN, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, Mar 15th: 8:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Mar 16th: CLOSED
  • Sunday, Mar 17th:  back to regular schedule

WEBSITE: The Library is getting a facelift!  Our website will be moving to a new and improved design in the Spring 2013 semester.  New sections to Quick Links, Popular Content, and collections or projects that are Unique @ FIU Libraries are prominently featured, while familiar links to Ask Us, Research Tools, Off Campus Access, and the Catalog remain.

We now have access to a new Archives Unbound Collection from Gale Digital Collections.
The Greensboro Massacre, 1979: Shootout between the American Nazis & the Communist Workers Party
"This collection of FBI, local and state police, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, sheds new light on the motivations of the Communist organizers, the shootings, subsequent investigations, and efforts to heal the Greensboro community following the Greensboro, North Carolina Massacre of 1979."
