- Library Governance Charge (Ballot Voted)
This committee was formed by ballot, in August, 2000, which authorized the following:
The steering committee shall draw up a formal constitution for purposes of library governance. This committee will consist of three members from University Park and two members from the Biscayne Bay Campus. The steering committee shall:
- appoint subcommittees, as it sees fit, to aid in its work;
- draw up a formal constitution;
- present the proposed constitution to the librarians;
- schedule a vote by the librarians (librarians will vote for or against the proposed document), four weeks after the proposed constitution is presented.
In November, 2000, the committee was elected.
