Employee of the Month -- May 2005

I am pleased to announce that our Employee of the Month for May is Aida Lucas, Senior Library Technical Assistant, Catalog Department. She has held this position since November, 1997. Her job is initial creation of the bibliographic record for materials being added to the library.

Ms. Lucas is quiet, efficient, and according to her supervisor, “. . . can be relied on to complete each assignment in a timely and accurate manner.” She has recently added cataloging of monographs to her job description and has proven to be a fast learner. Her work is described as the equal of that by others who have been cataloging for many years. Her supervisor adds, “All in all, I would say that Aida is an exemplary employee and a great co-worker. She is very deserving of this award.”
