Employee of the Month -- April 2005

I am pleased to announce that our Employee of the Month for April is Angela Obando, Senior Library Technical Assistant, Serials Section. She Began working at University Park Library in 1989 as an OPS worker before joining the support staff of what was then the Audiovisual Library in 1993.

Her supervisor describes her as an exceptional employee - trustworthy, responsible, dedicated, and hardworking. She contributes to every project undertaken by the department, working with MARC records, checking in materials, and recently, incorporating nursing journals into Green Library collections. In the words of her unit head, "She takes a great deal of pride in her work and goes above and beyond the call to see that assignments are meticulously completed."
