    Quick Research Databases:
    - Academic Index
    - Omni File Full Text Mega

Try these databases as they tend to have lots of full-text and each has the ability to limit to Peer-Reviewed Journal Articles.

  7. Click Public Health
  8.

  9. Click Dietetics & Nutrition and/or Public Health, General.
  10.

  11. Sample Search using Medline via Cambridge Scientific Abstracts in the Dietetics & Nutrition Database List.

  14.

  15. When you get your results, be sure to click the Peer‐Reviewed Journals tab.  Notice the descriptors used; if one fits, click on it!

  16.

  17. When you find an article you want to read, click on .  A new window opens and searches for the full‐text of the article across 300+ databases. Below are options for getting the full‐text of an article.
  18.

  19. If the FIND IT @ FIU menu says: Sorry, no holdings were found for this journal.  This means the full-text is not online but it doesn't mean you can't get the article!
  20.

  21. Use Intercampus Loan to request an article delivered to your desktop from one FIU Campus to another.
  22.

  23. Use Interlibrary Loan to request an article delivered to your desktop when it is not in FIU Libraries.
