Quiet Zone Policy

A Quiet Zone is an area designated specifically for quiet study and reading.   

Please observe the following rules while in a Quiet Zone:

• Talking is not allowed, including on the cell phone.
• Cell phones and beepers must be silenced.
• Use the stairwells if you must speak on the phone.
• Personal music devices must be used with headphones.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Failure to observe Quiet Zone rules may result in your being asked to leave the library.

Quiet Zone locations:

• Green Library, Modesto A. Maidique Campus:
  All areas of the 3rd, 6th, & 7th floors.
• Biscayne Bay Campus Library:
  All areas of the 3rd floor.
