Medical Library

The mission of the Medical Library is to advance the teaching and learning, the discovery, and the healthcare programs of the College of Medicine, and to promote the health of South Floridians. In pursuing this, the Medical Library collects information and knowledge resources that are pertinent to College of Medicine programs, and that enrich the wide variety of library resources that are available to the FIU community.

A large percentage of the Medical Library’s collection will be in a digital format, and those electronic books, periodicals, and databases will be readily accessible to most from FIU campuses as well as from off-campus locations.

The Medical Library is located on the third floor of the Green Library (GL 380). It will open in July 2009. The Medical Library website is under development and will be linked here soon.
