Research and Reference Services

• A focused collection of print reference materials and a limited collection of current print journals.
• Reference and research assistance for individuals and group instruction in the use of databases, electronic journals and other resources.  Available by appointment.

Access Services

• Course Reserves -- Print Course Reserve materials available onsite and electronic course reserve materials available online.  ELS Faculty - please click here to place materials on Course Reserves at the ELS, Green Library, or Biscayne Bay Library.
• Interlibrary Loan -- Borrow books and receive articles from other libraries via ILLiad - Interlibrary Loan.  Books are routed to the ELS for pickup.  Articles are delivered electronically.
• Intercampus Loan -- Borrow books and receive articles from within the FIU Libraries via Intercampus Loan.  Books are routed to the ELS for pickup.  Articles are delivered electronically.
   

Other Services

• Computers with access to the Internet and engineering, science and other databases and electronic journals.
• Toshiba multi-function printer -- photocopy, print from ELS computers, scan and save to a flash drive.
• Video viewing equipment.
• Laptops available for 3 hour checkout.
