Welcome to the FIU Libraries. The University Libraries are housed in the Steven and Dorothea Green Library at University Park, and in the Library Building at the Biscayne Bay Campus. The Libraries' collections consist of over 1.7 million volumes and more than 9,000 journal subscriptions, including over 3600 electronic full-text journals. The collections are reflected in the online catalog of the State University System of Florida Libraries (SUS). The libraries participate in numerous local and national organizations including the Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN). The libraries accept, promote and support the ACRL Intellectual Freedom Principles for Academic Libraries, the ALA Library Bill of Rights and the USA PATRIOT Act and Intellectual Freedom.
You can expect to find the same hours and similar services in both libraries. We hope you will find that the Libraries support your teaching, research, and service at the University. We look forward to working with you in the further development of library collections and services. Please share with us your suggestions and requests.
